ISA Ventures Fund

About

The ISA Ventures Fund is a $22M fund focused on Iowa-based technology companies. We'll typically invest smaller amounts in earlier-stage companies - as little as $25-100k, then more as companies grow, up to $1 million.

Eligibility

Potential investments must:

  • Have your principal place of business be in Iowa, meaning at least one of the following is true:
    • Your company has more than 50% of all its employees residing in Iowa
    • You pay more than 50% of your payroll to Iowa residents
    • Your headquarters is in Iowa - your home office for a substantial amount of executive employees
  • Have a venture-scale, large addressable market
  • Have a strong leadership team
    • Extra consideration is given to companies that participate in Iowa Startup Accelerator
  • Have a technology-based product, usually software and/or hardware, and almost always in our target industry sectors:
    • Biotechnology, healthcare, and medical technologies
    • Education technologies
    • Engineering and automation technologies
    • Agriculture, food, and bio-processing
    • Insurance & finance technologies
    • Transportation & logistics technologies
